By default, patients completing the Chief Complaint Survey can select multiple unrelated pain regions on the body picker. When they do, it will appear in your SOAP note as a single complaint labeled with all selected regions.

You can enable a survey setting to prevent patients from selecting non-adjacent regions on the Chief Complaint Survey.
Here's how to prevent patients from selecting unrelated regions:
1) Navigate to the profile icon in the top right corner and select Clinic settings.
2) Navigate to Survey Preferences.

3) Scroll down to Chief Complaint Survey.
Toggle this ON to prevent patients from selecting unrelated regions.
Toggle this OFF to allow patients to select related regions.

💡Pro tip:
When this setting is toggled ON, patients will be alerted that they have selected multiple unrelated regions and will have to Try again:

When this setting is toggled OFF, patients will still be alerted of unrelated selections, but they will have the option to Continued or Try again:
