Tracking Remaining Treatments & Uses

ChiroUp will automatically track a patient's Remaining Treatments and Remaining Uses on their insurance policy! This article will walk you through how to set this up and how the tracking works. 


Here's how to track a patient's remaining Insurance Treatments and Uses: 

1. Navigate to the patient's insurance policy and open it up. 

2. Enter the patient's Remaining Treatments or Remaining Uses into the respective fields under the Insurance Benefits section of the policy (you may need to add a benefit first. 

  • Remaining Treatments refers to the total number of visits an insurance plan allows per year for a specific discipline. 
  • Remaining Uses refers to the number of visits approved under a specific prior authorization from the insurer. 

 

3. Now, when you have this insurance policy attached to a purchase, the system will automatically deduct one treatment/use whenever you lock the purchase. 

The remaining number of treatments and uses will also be visible on the policy in the purchase!

 

When there is 1 or 0 remaining treatments or uses, the alert will turn orange.
