Here's how to manually switch a claim's status in ChiroUp:
1. Select the claim whose status you'd like to update.
2. At the bottom of claim screen, select the Status button.

3. Select the new claim status. Click the floppy disk icon to save!

To reduce errors or incorrect data, ChiroUp restricts which status you are able to manually switch. See below for how claim statuses can be manually switched:
- Hold status: can be switched to Pending
- Waiting on Other status: cannot be switched (downstream claims are automatically set to this until the upstreatm claims have been marked as denied or paid).
- Pending status: can be switched Hold (pending claims will move into Unsubmitted or Submitted automatically after testing/submitting the claim).
- Unsubmitted status: can be switched to Hold
- Submitted status: can be switched to Rejected, Received, Denied, Paid, or Unpaid.
- Received status: can be switched to Rejected, Denied, Paid, or Unpaid.
- Rejected status: can be regenerated or switched to Unpaid.
- Denied status: can be switched to Rejected or Unpaid.
- Partially paid status: cannot be manually switched.
- Paid status: cannot be manually switched.
- Unpaid status: cannot be manually switched.
