If you need to unpost or delete an ERA response after it has been posted, all you need to do is click the Unpost button when viewing an ERA. Then, confirm the unpost. 

When you unpost an ERA, here is what will happen in ChiroUp: 

• The ERA response will return to the Applied status. You can then either re-post or unapply the response.
• The posted payor payment will be unapplied from the purchase.
• Any finalized patient balance will be un-finalized.

If you need to delete the response follow these steps: 

1. Unpost the ERA

2. Unapply the ERA

3. Delete the response

Note: deleting an ERA is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Use caution when deleting any responses.
